The Hangover is a 2009 comedy directed by Todd Phillips and starring Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis, Ed Helms, and Justin Bartha. After a wild night in Las Vegas, the four friends wake up to discover that the groom-to-be, Doug, is missing and they have no memory of the previous night's events. With only a few clues and a tiger in their hotel room, they must piece together the events of the night in order to find Doug and return in time for his wedding. Along the way, they experience a variety of outrageous escapades as they try to remember what happened the night before.

"Dazed and Confused" is a 1993 coming-of-age film written and directed by Richard Linklater. Set in 1976 in a small Texas town, the film follows the lives of various characters over the course of a single day on the last day of school. The film follows the lives of incoming freshman, outgoing seniors, stoners, jocks, and everyone in between as they navigate the pitfalls of high school life. The characters throughout the film deal with issues such as peer pressure, drug use, and trying to fit in. As the night goes on, the characters find themselves at a party, where they continue to interact and struggle to find their place in a rapidly changing world. In the end, the characters learn to accept who they are and move on to the next phase of their lives.
