As their relationship deepens, Crowe discovers that his goal may be more difficult than he originally imagined. The film is a suspenseful exploration of grief and its consequences, as well as a powerful meditation on the power of belief.

Ghostbusters is a 1984 supernatural comedy film directed by Ivan Reitman and written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis. It follows three eccentric parapsychologists in New York City who start a ghost-catching business. Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis and Ernie Hudson star as the titular Ghostbusters, with Sigourney Weaver and Rick Moranis in supporting roles. After the Ghostbusters are hired by cellist Dana Barrett to investigate paranormal activity in her Central Park West apartment, they battle a supernatural entity called Gozer, a Sumerian shape-shifting god of destruction. The film received a positive reception from critics and audiences and was a box office success. It earned several awards and nominations, including two Oscar nominations, and spawned a media franchise, which includes a 1989 sequel, two animated television series, and several video games. The film is widely considered to be one of the greatest films of the 1980s and the highest-grossing comedy of all-time.
