Along the way, they discover the power of words and how they can be used to achieve greatness. As they prepare for the debate that will determine their fate, they also grapple with the social issues of their time, such as racism and segregation, and the importance of education. The film highlights the power of intellect, perseverance, and teamwork, as well as the importance of standing up for what you believe in.
