Evil Dead II (1987)

Evil Dead II follows Ash Williams (Bruce Campbell) as he's transported back in time to a remote cabin in the woods. He soon discovers the Necronomicon, a powerful book of the dead, and unleashes an army of the dead. In order to survive, Ash must fight off the evil dead, as well as the spirit of his own dead girlfriend, who tries to possess him. He must use all of his wits, strength, and ingenuity to defeat the evil forces and ultimately save the day. Along the way, audience members are treated to some of Sam Raimi's iconic horror imagery, including the famous chainsaw scene. In the end, Ash is successful, and the evil forces are vanquished.
