Gone Baby Gone follows the story of two detectives, Patrick Kenzie (Casey Affleck) and his partner, Angie Gennaro (Michelle Monaghan). As they delve deeper into the case, they uncover a darker side to the neighbourhood, and the people involved in Amanda's disappearance. With the help of Lieutenant Jack Doyle (Morgan Freeman), the detectives struggle to piece together who is responsible for abducting Amanda and why. In the end, they are forced to make a moral decision that will have profound consequences.

Mysterious Skin is a 2004 drama film directed by Gregg Araki, starring Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Brady Corbet. The film is based on Scott Heim's 1995 novel of the same name and centers around two teenage boys in a small Kansas town, Neil McCormick (Gordon-Levitt) and Brian Lackey (Corbet). Neil is a charismatic and confident young man who works as a male hustler, while Brian is a socially awkward loner who is obsessed with UFOs and believes he was abducted by aliens as a child. As the two boys try to make sense of their shared trauma, they ultimately come to terms with their past and embark on a journey of self-discovery.
