Along the way, Hiccup discovers that the dragons are not the enemies he always thought they were, and learns to embrace them as allies. The film is a heartwarming tale of friendship and acceptance, with a thrilling climax that brings the two worlds of Vikings and dragons together.

How to Train Your Dragon 2 is a 2014 American computer-animated action fantasy film directed by Dean DeBlois. It is the sequel to the 2010 animated film How to Train Your Dragon, and the second installment in the How to Train Your Dragon franchise. The film stars the voices of Jay Baruchel, Gerard Butler, Craig Ferguson, America Ferrera, Jonah Hill, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, T.J. Miller, and Kristen Wiig. Five years after the first movie, Hiccup and Toothless have become the chiefs of Berk, developing a unique relationship where they fly, battle, and explore together. Suddenly, they find out that a power-hungry conqueror, Drago Bludvist, is planning to take control of the entire dragon population. Hiccup and Toothless, along with the help of the rest of the dragon-riding Vikings of Berk, must fight to protect their home and the dragons they love. Along the way, they must confront their own fears and discover that even the smallest of creatures can make a big difference.
