The Wizard of Oz is a classic 1939 musical fantasy film directed by five directors. In the film, Dorothy Gale (Judy Garland) is a young girl who lives on a farm in Kansas. When a tornado strikes, she is whisked away to the magical land of Oz. On her journey, she is accompanied by a Scarecrow (Ray Bolger), a Tin Man (Jack Haley) and a Cowardly Lion (Bert Lahr). Together they make their way to the Emerald City to meet the mysterious Wizard of Oz. With his help, they hope to fulfill their dreams and return back to Kansas. Along the way, they must confront the Wicked Witch of the West (Margaret Hamilton). With the help of Glinda the Good Witch (Billie Burke), Dorothy ultimately succeeds in her quest. The Wizard of Oz is a beloved classic filled with captivating characters, memorable musical numbers, and inspiring themes of friendship and courage.
