Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles is a supernatural horror film directed by Neil Jordan and based on Anne Rice's novel of the same name. The film follows the life of a vampire, Louis de Pointe du Lac, who tells his life story to a reporter as an interview. It begins in the late 18th century when Louis is transformed into a vampire by Lestat. Louis and Lestat form a partnership and go on to create a "family" of vampires, including the child vampire Claudia. As the vampires age, Louis struggles to reconcile his desire for a normal human life with his newfound immortality. Through a series of flashbacks, Louis and Lestat's relationship unravels, and Louis is forced to confront the consequences of his vampiric lifestyle. In the end, Louis must ultimately choose between his past and his future.
