Train to Busan is a 2016 South Korean zombie horror film directed by Sang-ho Yeon. The film follows the story of Seok-woo, a workaholic father, and his daughter, Su-an, as they board the KTX train from Seoul to Busan in the midst of a zombie apocalypse. Along the way they encounter other passengers who join their fight to survive. As they battle their way through hordes of zombies and the growing tensions amongst themselves, Seok-woo must make some difficult choices in order to keep his daughter safe. The film is a thrilling, action-packed ride as the passengers attempt to make it to Busan alive.

What We Do in the Shadows is a 2014 comedy horror film written, directed and starring Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi. The film follows a group of four vampires who live together in a flat in Wellington, New Zealand. The vampires include Viago (Waititi) a dandy of 379 years, Vladislav (Clement) an 862 year old “bad boy”, Deacon (Jonathan Brugh) a 183 year old “hipster”, and Petyr (Ben Fransham) a 8,000 year old elder vampire. The film follows the vampires as they navigate through their daily lives in modern society; hunting for human victims, attending a vampire’s ball, and dealing with the local werewolf gang. Along the way they discover the pitfalls of being a vampire living in the 21st century.
