After the two men are swapped, they must try to find a way to come out on top. Along the way they enlist the help of Ophelia (Jamie Lee Curtis) and a streetwise crew, who teach them how to survive in the other's world. Through a series of events, the two men are eventually able to restore each other to their rightful positions. In the end, justice is served and the Dukes, who orchestrated the whole plan as a part of their bet, are brought to justice.
