Predator is an action science-fiction film from 1987 directed by John McTiernan. Starring Arnold Schwarzenegger, Carl Weathers, Bill Duke, and Jesse Ventura, the film follows an elite United States special operations team who are sent to a Central American jungle to rescue hostages. Once there, they discover they are being hunted by an extraterrestrial warrior, the Predator. As the team struggle to survive and make sense of their situation, they soon realize the Predator has been tracking them through the jungle and is hunting them for sport. The team must rely on their skills and courage to outwit and defeat the Predator before it kills them all.
