Let the Right One In is a Swedish romantic horror film directed by Tomas Alfredson. It follows the story of Oskar, a 12-year-old boy living in a suburb of Stockholm, who befriends a vampire girl named Eli. Together they must navigate the complexities of their burgeoning relationship while dealing with the dangers that come along with Eli's supernatural existence. While the story is set in a modern context, the film is an exploration of coming of age and the difficulties of growing up and finding love. As the two strangers bond, it becomes clear that Eli is not an ordinary girl and that Oskar has a long journey ahead of him as he grapples with his own identity and the moral implications of Eli's lifestyle.

The Fly (1986) is a science fiction horror film directed by David Cronenberg and starring Jeff Goldblum and Geena Davis. The film follows an eccentric scientist named Seth Brundle (Goldblum) who invents a teleporter machine, but soon discovers that something has gone wrong when he begins to transform into a fly-human hybrid. As his transformation continues, Brundle struggles to find a cure for his condition as he begins to lose control of his human side. With help from journalist Veronica Quaife (Davis), Seth must find a way to reverse the transformation before it's too late. The Fly is a compelling exploration into the dangers of tampering with science, and the consequences of playing God.
