The Thing is a 1982 science-fiction horror film directed by John Carpenter and starring Kurt Russell. Set in Antarctica, the film follows a group of researchers who are terrorized by a parasitic extraterrestrial lifeform that assimilates and then imitates other organisms. After discovering a crashed space craft, the researchers discover the creature, which has the ability to imitate other species and assimilate them. As paranoia and fear spread among the group, they must figure out how to survive and defeat the creature. The film is noted for its intense special effects and suspenseful atmosphere, and is widely considered one of the best horror films of all time.

Train to Busan is a South Korean zombie film directed by Sang-ho Yeon. The film follows a group of passengers as they struggle to survive a zombie outbreak on a high-speed train journey from Seoul to Busan. The passengers include Seok-woo (Gong Yoo), a workaholic father who is taking his daughter Su-an (Kim Su-an) to see her mother in Busan, and a variety of other travelers with their own personal agendas. As the zombie outbreak begins to spread rapidly, the passengers are forced to fight their way through hordes of the undead in order to survive. Along the way, they confront challenges such as rival survivor groups, hostile humans, and their own personal demons as they strive to reach their destination. In the end, they must face their greatest challenge yet - the possibility of never reaching Busan alive.
