Jaws tells the story of a great white shark that terrorizes the fictional town of Amity Island. The police chief Martin Brody (Roy Scheider), a marine biologist named Matt Hooper (Richard Dreyfuss) and a grizzled shark hunter named Quint (Robert Shaw) team up to hunt down and kill the dangerous shark. As the shark continues to wreak havoc on the town, the three men must race against time to put a stop to the terror before it is too late. Along the way, they must battle the fear and paranoia of the townspeople, and their own personal demons, in order to succeed.

Along the way, the crew discovers the power of teamwork and courage in the face of adversity. The film stars Ed Harris, Mary Elizabeth Mastrantonio, and Michael Biehn and was directed by James Cameron.
