The Great Escape is a 1963 American epic war film directed by John Sturges and starring Steve McQueen, James Garner, and Richard Attenborough. The film is based on Paul Brickhill's 1950 book of the same name, a non-fiction first-hand account of the mass escape of British Commonwealth prisoners of war from a German POW camp during World War II. The film follows the escapades of a group of Allied prisoners of war (POWs) who meticulously plan and execute an escape from a German POW camp. The prisoners are determined to outwit their captors and escape the camp before they can be transferred to a more secure location. The prisoners are aided in their escape by a team of outside conspirators, including American Royal Air Force Squadron Leader Roger Bartlett (McQueen), who, after being captured, is placed in charge of the escape plan. The World's Fastest Indian is a 2005 biographical sports drama film about the life of New Zealand motorcycle racer Burt Munro. In the film, Munro (played by Anthony Hopkins) travels from his home in New Zealand to Utah to attempt to set a land speed record on his 1920 Indian Scout motorcycle. Along the way, Munro meets a cast of characters who help him realize his dream. With a mix of determination and positivity, Munro is able to break records despite facing numerous obstacles. The film follows Munro's journey and celebrates his success. In the end, Munro achieves his goal and his spirit of determination and positivity lives on.

The Motorcycle Diaries is a 2004 biographical film directed by Walter Salles and based on the journals of Che Guevara. The Road Warrior is a post-apocalyptic action-adventure film that follows Max Rockatansky (Mel Gibson), a man of few words who is a survivor of a nuclear war that has left the world a wasteland. Max is a drifter who drives a supercharged V8 Interceptor and lives a nomadic existence. He is constantly pursued by marauders who want his car and the fuel he carries. When Max finds himself in the middle of a battle between a group of settlers and a band of marauders, he agrees to help the settlers in exchange for a tank of fuel. He leads them against the marauders in a violent, explosive car chase that leaves both sides battered and bruised. In the end, Max helps the settlers to survive, and in return, they give him the fuel he needs to continue his journey.
