Predator is a 1987 science fiction action film directed by John McTiernan and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. The film follows a team of commandos, led by Major "Dutch" Schaefer (Schwarzenegger), on a mission to rescue hostages held by guerrillas in a Central American jungle. The team soon finds itself hunted by an alien trophy hunter, the Predator, which has genetically advanced technology, including thermal vision and invisibility cloaks, that it uses to silently stalk its prey. As the Predator kills off members of the team one by one, Dutch and his remaining soldiers must use their wits and skills to outwit and outlast the alien hunter or become its prey.

Tucker and Dale vs Evil is a horror-comedy film written and directed by Eli Craig. It follows two best friends, Tucker and Dale, who are on a fishing trip in the Appalachian Mountains. After rescuing a young woman, Allison, from drowning in the lake, they are mistaken for psychotic hillbillies by a group of preppy college students on vacation. After a series of misunderstandings, a series of chaotic and comedic events ensue, as the college students attempt to "rescue" Allison from the hands of Tucker and Dale, who are simply trying to get back to their cabin. As the film progresses, the relationships between the college kids and the hillbillies evolve and eventually culminate in an unexpected ending.
