Se7en is an American psychological thriller directed by David Fincher and starring Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Kevin Spacey. The film follows two detectives, Somerset (Freeman) and Mills (Pitt), as they investigate a series of horrific murders committed by a serial killer referred to only as "John Doe" (Spacey). The investigation soon reveals that the killer is enacting a horrifying plan, inspired by the seven deadly sins: gluttony, greed, sloth, wrath, pride, lust, and envy. As the detectives uncover more and more evidence, they begin to realize just how terrifying John Doe’s scheme is. In a tense, violent climax, Somerset and Mills confront the killer and attempt to stop his plan. Se7en is a thrilling, heart-stopping film that takes viewers on a journey into the dark depths of a disturbed mind.
