The Road Warrior is a post-apocalyptic action film directed by George Miller, set in a future Australia. The film follows Max, a lone warrior who is travelling across the barren outback in search of fuel. Along the way, he meets a group of survivors who are trying to protect their fuel source from a group of marauders. Max agrees to help them in exchange for a tank of fuel. With the help of Max and his skills as a driver and fighter, the survivors successfully fend off the marauders and reclaim their fuel. In the end, Max continues on his journey, but not before striking up a friendship with the survivors.
