Hood to Coast is a 2011 documentary film directed by Christoph Baaden and Marcie Hume that follows four teams of twelve people as they compete in the relay race known as the Hood to Coast. The film follows the teams over the course of the grueling 200-mile race from the top of Oregon's Mt. Hood all the way to the Pacific coast, as they face off against each other as well as the elements. The film follows each team as they struggle with exhaustion, injuries, and the emotional roller coaster of the race. As the race progresses, the teams must overcome obstacles in order to make it to the finish line and take the coveted first place trophy. Along the way, they learn important lessons about teamwork, resilience, and the power of friendship. At the end of the race, the documentary culminates in an exciting finish, as the teams strive to be the first to cross the finish line. Hood to Coast is an inspiring and uplifting film that celebrates the amazing feats that can be accomplished when individuals come together as a team.
