The group of samurai, led by Shinzaemon Shimada, devise a plan to ambush Lord Naritsugu and his entourage. To do this, they must first recruit 11 additional warriors, before setting out on their mission. As the group journey to their destination, they face dangerous and unexpected obstacles, testing their courage and their skills as warriors. Ultimately, their mission culminates in a bloody and brutal battle between the 13 assassins and Lord Naritsugu's army. Despite their overwhelming odds, the 13 brave samurai are successful in their mission, sacrificing their lives to save their country from certain doom.
