As they search for the perfect trick, they become entangled in a complex web of deceit and deception, and each begins to truly question the cost of their ambition. Ultimately, both men must sacrifice a great deal to create the ultimate stage illusion, and the film ends with a satisfyingly unexpected resolution.

With the help of GERTY, the AI robot on the base, Sam begins to unravel the mystery and learns of a terrifying plan by his employer to exploit the moon's resources. Sam must find a way to stop the plan and finally make it back home to Earth.

Together they have to fight an array of aliens and robots in order to protect the world and save the future of mankind. Along the way, they encounter a colorful cast of characters, including a priest, a diva, and a hidden race of aliens. The Fifth Element is an action-packed, sci-fi adventure with a humorous lightheartedness, and spectacular visual effects.
