Jaws is a 1975 American thriller directed by Steven Spielberg and based on Peter Benchley's novel of the same name. The Birds is a classic horror film by Alfred Hitchcock released in 1963. The movie follows the story of a wealthy socialite, Melanie Daniels, who travels to a small coastal town to meet Mitch Brenner. During her stay, mysterious and violent bird attacks begin to terrorize the townspeople. As the attacks worsen, Melanie and Mitch must find a way to survive while trying to uncover the source of the birds’ strange behavior. The movie ends with Melanie and Mitch’s relationship strengthened and the birds finally departing. Despite the lack of a clear explanation for the birds’ attacks, The Birds remains an intense and eerie film.
