Only the Brave is a 2017 American biographical drama film directed by Joseph Kosinski about the Granite Mountain Hotshots, a group of firefighters who battled the 2013 Yarnell Hill Fire in Arizona. The film stars Josh Brolin, Miles Teller, Jeff Bridges, Taylor Kitsch, James Badge Dale, Jennifer Connelly, and Andie MacDowell. It is based on the GQ article "No Exit" by Sean Flynn. The story follows the Granite Mountain Hotshots, an elite firefighting team of 20 men from Prescott, Arizona. Led by Eric Marsh (Josh Brolin), and driven by a sense of brotherhood and duty, the Hotshots risk their lives to protect their communities and families from the unpredictable, deadly force of nature. As the situation worsens, the team is forced to make difficult decisions that will determine if they make it out alive. Ultimately, the team must rely on each other to survive their toughest challenge yet.

Along the way, they face many obstacles and must overcome their fears to succeed in their quest. Together, they must uncover the secret behind the temple and save the day.
