Kill Bill: Volume 2 is a 2004 American martial arts film written and directed by Quentin Tarantino. It is the sequel to 2003's Kill Bill: Volume 1. The film stars Uma Thurman as the Bride, who continues her revenge mission against the Deadly Viper Assassination Squad. After killing O-Ren Ishii and Bill, she embarks on a journey to track down her remaining targets: Budd, Elle Driver, and eventually, Bill’s brother and former leader of the squad, Vernita Green. The Bride's journey leads her to Japan, where she battles a yakuza, and then The Copperhead, an assassin sent by Vernita. In the end, she defeats them both and is reunited with her daughter, B.B., whom she was forced to leave behind at the beginning of the journey. The film features the iconic "house of blue leaves" fight scene, and ends with a cliffhanger as to whether or not the Bride finally completes her quest for revenge.

Black Book (2006) is a Dutch-British World War II drama directed by Paul Verhoeven. The film follows Rachel Stein (Carice van Houten), a Jewish woman who is on the run from the Nazis after they murder her family. To survive, she takes on the identity of a dead woman, Ellis de Vries, and infiltrates a Resistance group to get revenge. With the help of her new allies, she discovers a secret Nazi plan to assassinate the Dutch Prime Minister and springs into action to prevent it. Along the way, Rachel discovers secrets within the Resistance and faces treachery, romance and betrayal as she attempts to save her people and outwit the Nazis.
