Along the way, the group faces obstacles, comedic mishaps, and the realization that their lives may not be as fulfilling as they thought. Through the chaos and terror, Shaun is able to come to terms with his mediocrity and use it as a strength to help save the day.

Rated R

Evil Dead II is a horror-comedy that serves as a sequel to the 1981 cult classic The Evil Dead. Directed by Sam Raimi, the film stars Bruce Campbell as the protagonist Ash Williams, who has been transported back to a cabin in the woods where he is again confronted with a demonic force. The film follows Ash as he attempts to escape the cabin while being terrorized by the evil dead, a group of zombies and demons that he must fight off with a shotgun and chainsaw. As the story progresses, Ash slowly begins to realize that he may be the only one capable of stopping the demonic forces from taking over the world. The movie also features comedic elements which add to its already unique blend of horror and comedy. In the end, Ash triumphs over the evil dead and is transported back to his own time. Despite its relatively low budget and campy tone, Evil Dead II has gone on to become a cult classic, making it one of the most beloved horror films of all time.
