Stree is a 2018 Indian comedy horror film directed by Amar Kaushik and produced by Dinesh Vijan and Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. Set in the town of Chanderi, the film follows a series of unexplained disappearances of men in the town and the arrival of an unknown woman called Stree who is believed to be behind the disappearances. A young tailor, Vicky (Rajkummar Rao) falls in love with the mysterious woman and decides to find out the truth behind her. With the help of his friends, Bittu (Aparshakti Khurana) and Rudra (Abhishek Banerjee), they discover the dark secret of Stree - a spirit who visits the town during the festival of 'Stree Puja' and abducts men. In the end, they manage to defeat Stree and restore the town's peace.
