Gandhi is a 1982 British-Indian biographical drama film directed by Richard Attenborough, based on the life of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, the leader of the Indian independence movement against British colonial rule during the 20th century. Along the way, he is aided by Marie (Franka Potente) and Nicky (Julia Stiles), two characters who help him in his mission. In the end, Bourne is able to get justice and put an end to the conspiracy.
