The Skin I Live In is a psychological thriller directed by Pedro Almodóvar. The film tells the story of the brilliant plastic surgeon Dr. Robert Ledgard (Antonio Banderas). The skin he creates is tested on a mysterious young woman (Elena Anaya) whom Ledgard keeps prisoner in his home. As the movie progresses, secrets about the woman's past and Dr. Ledgard's motives are slowly revealed, leading to a shocking conclusion.
