Along the way, he falls in love with a mysterious woman named Rachael, who is revealed to be a Replicant herself. The film concludes with Deckard and Rachael escaping together, while Roy Batty's fate remains uncertain. Blade Runner is an influential science fiction classic that explores questions of identity, mortality, and morality.
