The story follows a commercial towing space ship called the Nostromo and its crew, who are woken from stasis to investigate a mysterious transmission from a nearby planet. Upon investigation, the crew discovers a derelict alien ship and, within it, a strange creature that attaches itself to one of the crew members. As the creature grows and evolves, it begins to terrorize the crew, leading to a desperate fight for survival. Along the way, they uncover a sinister corporate conspiracy that could cost them all their lives. Alien is a tense, suspenseful and gripping story that still stands as one of the greatest science fiction films ever made.

Aliens is a science-fiction action/horror film directed by James Cameron and released in 1986. The film is a sequel to the 1979 film Alien and stars Sigourney Weaver, reprising her role as Ellen Ripley. The story follows Ripley, now the sole survivor of the original Alien attack, as she is asked to return to the planet where the first Alien was encountered. After arriving on the planet, Ripley discovers that the entire colony has been wiped out by the Aliens. With the help of a group of space marines, she sets out to confront and destroy the aliens. The group battles a variety of Aliens and encounters a Queen Alien. After a fierce battle, they manage to defeat the Aliens and return to Earth, where Ripley is finally able to put the past behind her and move on. Aliens is widely renowned as one of the best science-fiction films of all time, winning numerous awards and being considered one of the greatest sequels ever made. The film's success led to two more sequels, Aliens 3 (1992) and Alien Resurrection (1997).

The crew must learn to work together to prevent the destruction of the world, and at the same time, attempt to make contact with the NTIs and make peace with them. In the end, the crew succeeds and the Cold War is ended.
