As he attempts to escape the family's estate, Chris uncovers the truth behind what is happening to him and other African-American individuals who have disappeared from the same area. In the end, Chris is able to outsmart his captors and save himself while exposing the Armitage family's sinister plan. Get Out's themes of racism, privilege, and power make it an important cinematic statement and a great addition to the horror genre.
