Terminator 2: Judgment Day is a 1991 science fiction action film directed and co-written by James Cameron and starring Arnold Schwarzenegger as the Terminator, Linda Hamilton as Sarah Connor and Edward Furlong as John Connor. The movie follows the events of the first Terminator film in which a cyborg assassin is sent back in time to kill Sarah Connor, the mother of a future leader of the human resistance against machines. In this sequel, another Terminator, this one with a more advanced CPU and mimetic polyalloy endoskeleton, is sent back to protect John Connor, who is targeted by a new, more advanced Terminator. The film follows Sarah and the T-800 model as they battle the new Terminator model- the T-1000- in order to protect John and prepare him for the future war against machines. This movie was the highest grossing film of 1991 and was very well received by critics. It won several awards, including four Academy Awards for Best Makeup, Best Sound, Best Visual Effects, and Best Sound Editing.

Aliens is a science fiction action horror film directed by James Cameron and released in 1986. It follows Ellen Ripley (Sigourney Weaver) as she returns to the moon where her crew encountered the hostile Alien creature, this time accompanied by a unit of space marines. After a confrontation with the Alien queen, Ripley manages to destroy the nest and escape in the colonial vessel, the Sulaco. Alien is widely regarded as one of the best sequels ever made and won many awards, including a Special Achievement Academy Award for visual effects. The film is praised for its intense action sequences, atmospheric setting, and groundbreaking special effects.

Logan is a 2017 superhero film directed by James Mangold and starring Hugh Jackman. With the help of a nurse, Caliban, Logan embarks on a road trip across the United States to save the young mutant and protect Professor X from Pierce’s forces. Along the way, Logan clashes with Pierce and his deadly Reavers, while trying to protect Laura from harm. With the fate of mutants hanging in the balance, Logan must summon all of his strength to protect the ones he loves.

Children of Men is a 2006 dystopian science fiction film directed by Alfonso Cuarón. The film is set in 2027, when humans have become infertile and the world is in chaos. Along the way, they are aided by a group of rebels who are fighting to protect Kee, who is pregnant and believed to be the world’s last hope. As they move through a chaotic and dangerous world, they must also avoid the oppressive government forces that are determined to stop them at all costs. In the end, Theo and Kee must join forces to find a way to save humanity before it is too late.

Deadpool 2 is a 2018 action-comedy film directed by David Leitch and written by Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. The film follows Wade Wilson (Reynolds), a.k.a. Deadpool, as he forms a team of mutant outcasts called the X-Force to protect a young mutant from the time-traveling soldier Cable (Brolin). Along the way, Deadpool must also contend with a host of enemies, including the super-powered Russell (Dennison), and his own personal demons. With the help of his newfound allies, Deadpool is able to come to terms with his past and face the obstacles ahead of him.

Shane is a Western classic set in Wyoming during the late 1800s. It tells the story of Shane, a mysterious gunslinger who arrives in a small rural town and is taken in by a local family. The town is being terrorized by the oppressive cattle baron, Ryker, and his henchmen, who are trying to force the homesteaders off the land. Shane takes it upon himself to protect the homesteaders from Ryker and his men. He takes up residence with the Starret family and soon befriends Joe, the young son of the family. As Shane bonds with the family, he finds himself getting more and more involved in the struggles of the homesteaders. He ultimately has to fight a duel with Ryker in order to protect the homesteaders and restore peace to the town.
