What Ever Happened to Baby Jane is a 1962 psychological horror-thriller film directed by Robert Aldrich and starring Bette Davis and Joan Crawford. The film follows a twisted tale of two aging sisters, Baby Jane Hudson (Davis) and Blanche Hudson (Crawford), who live together in a decaying Hollywood mansion. Baby Jane was an internationally successful child star in the 1930s but has since become an alcoholic recluse. Blanche, on the other hand, was a successful actress whose career was overshadowed by her younger sister. In present day, Baby Jane takes care of her disabled sister while harboring a deep resentment and animosity towards her. As the story progresses, Baby Jane's obsession with her long-lost fame and her mental state become increasingly unhinged, leading to a climax of terror and tragedy.

The Man Who Came to Dinner is a 1942 American comedy film directed by William Keighley and starring Bette Davis, Monty Woolley, Ann Sheridan, Richard Travis, Billie Burke and Jimmy Durante. The film is based on the 1939 play by George S. Kaufman and Moss Hart. The story follows the antics of egotistical, acerbic radio personality Sheridan Whiteside (Woolley) as he invades the lives of the Stanleys, a wealthy Ohio family. Whiteside is invited to dinner at the Stanley family home, where he slips on the ice and injures himself. He refuses to leave and instead invites many guests, including his valet and nurse. As his presence disrupts the lives of the Stanley family, he uses his wit to make his stay as entertaining as possible. In the end, Whiteside learns to appreciate true friendship and gives up his highly successful career in radio for life in the country.
