The Holy Mountain is an avant-garde fantasy film directed by Alejandro Jodorowsky. The story follows a Christ-like figure, known as The Thief, who is taken on a journey by a group of wealthy and powerful figures to ascend to the titular mountain. The group consists of Alchemist, who acts as their guide, as well as a group of individuals representing the seven deadly sins. Along the way, they face a series of tests and challenges that are meant to enlighten them and help them reach the top of the mountain. The film is surreal and metaphoric in nature, exploring themes of spirituality, enlightenment, and the search for meaning in life.

Dead Alive is a unique mix of horror and comedy, featuring outrageous gore and over-the-top violence. It has become a cult favorite, praised for its blend of comedy and horror, as well as its creative use of special effects and make-up.

Funny Games is a 1997 Austrian psychological thriller film written and directed by Michael Haneke, about two young men who terrorize a family in their holiday home. The film centers on the family of Georg and Anna, who are vacationing at their lakeside home with their pre-teen son, Schorschi, and their dog. Two young, polite men arrive uninvited, prompting the family to take them in for the night out of politeness. In the morning, however, the men refuse to leave. What follows is a harrowing experience as the two men psychologically and physically torture the family while they are held captive in their own home. As the hours pass, the family is forced to confront the true nature of their visitors and find a way to escape their frightening situation.
