Santa Clarita Diet is a Netflix original series starring Drew Barrymore and Timothy Olyphant. It follows the lives of husband and wife real estate agents Sheila and Joel Hammond, who live in the suburb of Santa Clarita, California. One day, Sheila mysteriously dies and returns to life as a zombie craving human flesh. She must find a way to satisfy her hunger without compromising her moral values or revealing her secret to her family and friends. With the help of their daughter, Abby, and their teenage neighbor, Eric, the Hammonds try to figure out how to navigate this strange new world while attempting to keep up with their jobs and maintaining a somewhat normal life. Along the way, they discover the lengths they will go to protect the ones they love. The series is a mix of dark comedy and horror, as the Hammonds struggle to come to grips with Sheila's new status and how it affects their lives.

With the help of her boss, Clive Babineaux, and her colleague, Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti, Liv discovers the existence of a new kind of zombie and the sinister secret behind the outbreak. As the conspiracy unravels, Liv and her team fight to keep the city safe from both zombie and human threats.

Along the way they discover that the zombie apocalypse isn't the only thing they must fear. Zombieland is a hilarious, action-packed adventure with plenty of laughs and scares.

Dead Alive is a 1992 black comedy horror film written and directed by Peter Jackson. It follows Lionel, a young man living with his overbearing mother in a Victorian-era mansion in New Zealand. He quickly realizes that he must protect his mother and his beloved girlfriend, Paquita, from the growing zombie horde that his mother is creating. With the help of his uncle, Lionel takes extreme measures to eradicate the zombies and keep them from spreading the infection to the rest of the town. In the end, Lionel triumphs over the zombie plague and embraces his newfound courage and heroism.
