Dogville is a 2003 drama film written and directed by Danish filmmaker Lars von Trier. Set in the 1930s in an isolated mountain town in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado, the film tells the story of a mysterious woman named Grace (played by Nicole Kidman) who arrives seeking refuge from gangsters. The townspeople agree to take her in, with the condition that she do work for them. As time passes, the townsfolk's treatment of Grace gradually becomes more oppressive and exploitative. Ultimately, Grace must decide whether to remain in the town, or risk her safety and flee. The film is noted for its minimalist style, with no music, minimal sets, and sparse dialogue. It is an exploration of morality and human nature, and how far people will go to protect their own interests.

The men must work together to solve puzzles and complete the tasks in order to survive the game. The film follows the men as they desperately fight to escape and outwit the Jigsaw Killer, all the while dealing with their own dark pasts. With its intense psychological horror, Saw is an unforgettable and suspenseful thriller.

Hunger is a 2008 British-Irish historical drama film directed by Steve McQueen and starring Michael Fassbender. It tells the story of Bobby Sands, an Irish Republican Army volunteer who led the 1981 hunger strike in the Maze Prison in Northern Ireland. The film follows Sands as he struggles against both the physical effects of starvation and the psychological effects of his actions. It also examines the complex dynamic between Sands and the prison authorities. The film won the Caméra d'Or award at the 2008 Cannes Film Festival and was nominated for the Best British Film BAFTA award.
