Set in 1957 in the small town of Rockwell, Maine, The Iron Giant follows the story of a young boy named Hogarth Hughes who discovers a giant metal robot that has fallen from the sky. With the help of his beatnik friend Dean, Hogarth attempts to keep the Iron Giant hidden from the prying eyes of the US government, who wish to capture and study the robot. As the government's pursuit of the Iron Giant intensifies, a bond begins to form between Hogarth and the Giant, teaching the boy valuable lessons about friendship, courage, and standing up for what's right. In the end, Hogarth and the Iron Giant must come together to save Rockwell from a dangerous weapon of mass destruction.

Fantasia is a 1940 American animated film produced by Walt Disney. Each segment is introduced by live-action scenes featuring an ensemble of eight humorous, abstract characters known as "the Sorcerer's Apprentices". While Fantasia received a lukewarm response upon its initial release, it has since grown to be regarded as a classic and is now widely considered to be one of the most influential animated films ever made.

Robin Hood is a 1973 American animated musical comedy-adventure film produced by Walt Disney Productions and released by Buena Vista Distribution. The twenty-third Disney animated feature film, it is based on the legend of Robin Hood, but uses anthropomorphic animals instead of people. The story follows the adventures of Robin Hood, Little John and the inhabitants of Nottingham as they fight against the excessive taxation of Prince John, and Robin Hood wins the hand of Maid Marian. The film was directed by Wolfgang Reitherman, who also directed The Jungle Book, and produced by David Hand, who had been one of the original supervisors on Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). The film's song score was composed by the Sherman Brothers, and includes "Oo-De-Lally" and "Love", sung by Roger Miller. The cast features Brian Bedford as Robin Hood and Peter Ustinov as his enemy, Prince John, with Phil Harris, Pat Buttram, and Monica Evans providing the voices of Little John, Friar Tuck, and Maid Marian, respectively.
