Deep Red is a 1975 horror-thriller film directed by Dario Argento. It tells the story of Marcus Daly, a jazz pianist played by David Hemmings who witnesses the brutal murder of a psychic. He teams up with a reporter (Daria Nicolodi) to investigate the case and attempt to track down the killer. The film is heavily stylized and features a unique score by prog-rock band Goblin. With plenty of suspenseful moments and intense violence, Deep Red is considered to be one of the most influential Italian horror films of all time.
