The Silence of the Lambs is a psychological horror-thriller film directed by Jonathan Demme that follows rookie FBI agent Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster) as she attempts to track down a serial killer nicknamed 'Buffalo Bill' (Ted Levine) who has been kidnapping and murdering young women. In her quest, Clarice receives invaluable help from the incarcerated Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), an enigmatic and brilliant psychiatrist with a dark past and an affinity for cannibalism. With Lecter's help, Clarice is able to uncover the secrets of Buffalo Bill's identity and ultimately bring him to justice. However, the psychological toll of the investigation, combined with the danger posed by Lecter, leave Clarice a changed woman.

As Louison falls in love with Clapet’s daughter Julie, he discovers the truth about his employer and joins forces with the other tenants to put a stop to his atrocities. Delicatessen is a surreal, darkly funny, and ultimately beautiful film that explores the power of love and the importance of standing together in the face of tyranny.
