Blade Runner is a 1982 science fiction film directed by Ridley Scott. As Deckard pursues the replicants and ultimately encounters the powerful leader of the replicant group, he begins to question his own identity and what it means to be human. The film examines themes of humanity, mortality, and identity in a visually stunning and complex cyberpunk world.
