With the help of a friendly local old man, the Wet Bandits are eventually defeated and Kevin is reunited with his family in time for the holidays. Funny Games is a 1997 psychological thriller directed by Michael Haneke. The film follows a family of three, Ann, Georg, and their child, Georgie, who are spending a holiday in their vacation home. During the night, two young men, dressed in their tennis whites, appear at the house and begin to torment the family. The men, Peter and Paul, force the family to play a series of sadistic "games" with them, in which the stakes are the family's lives. Over the course of the film, the family is subjected to an increasing amount of psychological and physical torture and humiliation, as the men attempt to break their will. In the end, the family is forced to resort to violence in order to survive, with unexpected consequences.
