The Silence of the Lambs is a 1991 psychological horror film directed by Jonathan Demme. The film follows FBI trainee Clarice Starling (Jodie Foster) as she attempts to catch a serial killer known as Buffalo Bill (Ted Levine). Clarice receives assistance from the imprisoned cannibalistic serial killer, Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Anthony Hopkins), in exchange for information on Buffalo Bill. Along the way, Clarice must confront her own inner demons and her beliefs about justice, as well as battle her growing attraction to Dr. Lecter. The film is a classic of the genre and is often considered one of the greatest thrillers of all time.

As Sarah and John race to protect themselves and find a way to destroy the Terminator, they are aided by a reprogrammed model of the original Terminator (Schwarzenegger). Together, they fight against the forces of technology and time to save the future.

Misery is a 1990 psychological horror film directed by Rob Reiner and starring James Caan and Kathy Bates. It is based on the 1987 Stephen King novel of the same name. The film follows the story of Paul Sheldon (Caan), a successful novelist, who is rescued from a car crash by Annie Wilkes (Bates), his "number one fan". At first, Annie appears to be a helpful nurse, caring for Paul while he recovers from his injuries. But soon Paul discovers that Annie is actually a psychotic fan who will stop at nothing to keep him from leaving. She forces him to write a novel that she wants him to write, torturing him in order to make him comply. Paul must find a way to escape from Annie's grasp before it's too late.
