They must also learn to live and work together in order to survive. The movie also features Bill Murray, who plays a version of himself. In the end, the four survivors make it to the amusement park, but find it overrun by zombies. They must use their wits and skills to survive and make it out alive.

Along the way, Lionel comes face to face with a variety of humorous and frightening characters, including a mad scientist, a zombie baby, and a giant zombie-fighting lawnmower. Dead Alive is a gory and hilarious tribute to the horror genre that combines slapstick comedy with intense horror elements.

Along the way, they encounter an army of soldiers sent in to exterminate the infected, as well as a small group of survivors led by a man named Major Henry West (Christopher Eccleston). As the survivors reach the safe haven, they must face the reality that the virus is still spreading and the world may never be the same again.
