Catch Me If You Can is a 2002 biographical crime-drama film directed by Steven Spielberg. The film follows the story of Frank Abagnale, a teenager and con artist from New England who runs away from home to begin a life of crime in order to support himself. He eventually becomes one of the most successful con artists in history, posing as a Pan American World Airways pilot, a doctor, and a lawyer. The film stars Leonardo DiCaprio and Tom Hanks, and is based on the life of Abagnale, as detailed in his book of the same name. The film details Abagnale's story as he is pursued by an FBI agent, Carl Hanratty, played by Hanks. The story follows Abagnale as he is caught in a cat and mouse chase, with Hanratty determined to capture him and bring him to justice. Despite the FBI's efforts, Abagnale manages to stay one step ahead of the law and continue his criminal activities. In the end, Abagnale is eventually caught and serves four years in prison. The film is a thrilling, comedic look at the life of one of the greatest con artists of all time.

The film is set in the year 3978, after a group of astronauts from the United States have crash-landed on a mysterious planet, initially thought to be a distant future Earth. It quickly becomes apparent that the planet is ruled by intelligent apes, while humans are treated as slaves. The astronauts soon discover that the planet is in fact a future version of Earth, after a catastrophic nuclear war has destroyed human civilization. The film follows the astronauts as they attempt to escape the planet and return to Earth, while being pursued by the apes. Along the way they discover evidence of the past human civilization and the cause of its destruction. In the end the astronauts are unable to return home, and the film ends with their resignation to their fate on the planet.

In the film, Bond's loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her, bringing MI6 under attack. As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost. The film's plot sees Bond investigating an attack on MI6; the attack is part of a plot by former MI6 operative Raoul Silva to humiliate, discredit and kill M as revenge against her for betraying him. Along with the established characters of Bond, Moneypenny and Q, Skyfall introduces several new characters, including the new M (Ralph Fiennes). The film sees the return of two recurring characters to the series: Judi Dench as M and Jeroen Krabbe as the linked villain.
