When the millionaire comes back to town and finds out what happened, he befriends the tramps and allows them to stay. In the end, Aloysius wins the heart of the millionaire's daughter (Gale Storm) and they all stay in the mansion, content.

In the end, Lee is acquitted of all charges and they are free to live happily ever after.
