Duck Soup is a classic Marx Brothers comedy released in 1933 and directed by Leo McCarey. It follows the wild antics of the Marx Brothers (Groucho, Chico, Harpo, and Zeppo) as their country of Freedonia goes to war with neighboring Sylvania over a loan repayment. In an effort to improve their government, the citizens of Freedonia elect the bumbling Rufus T. Firefly (Groucho) as their leader. With the help of his new cabinet, Firefly attempts to do the best he can to protect Freedonia from the advances of Sylvania's forces. Along the way, he and the other Marx Brothers cause mayhem and hilarity as they battle with rival spies, dodge bullets, and attempt to win a war with their wits. In the end, their silly antics are able to win the day, and Freedonia is able to remain free and independent.

Horse Feathers is a classic comedy from 1932 directed by Norman Z. McLeod. The film stars the iconic comedy duo of Groucho and Harpo Marx and follows the adventures of Quincy Adams Wagstaff (Groucho Marx) who becomes the president of fictional Huxley College and attempts to turn it into a winning football team. He recruits two new players, Baravelli (Harpo Marx) and Pinky (Chico Marx), and the three of them find themselves in a variety of hijinks as they try to scheme their way to a winning season. Along the way, they fall in love with two sisters and must also contend with a rival college team. In the end, Quincy and company are able to outwit their opponents and secure a victory for Huxley college.
