The Sixth Sense is a supernatural horror drama film written and directed by M. Night Shyamalan. The film stars Bruce Willis, Haley Joel Osment, Toni Collette, Olivia Williams, and Donnie Wahlberg. As their relationship grows and the truth is revealed, the two must confront the ultimate truth in order to bring peace to the ghosts of the past.

The Others is a psychological horror film directed by Alejandro Amenábar, starring Nicole Kidman, Fionnula Flanagan, Christopher Eccleston, and Alakina Mann. Set in 1945 and shot almost entirely on a single set, the story follows Grace Stewart (Kidman) and her two photosensitive children who live in a huge, isolated mansion on an island off the coast of England. When three mysterious servants arrive to take care of the house, Grace's children start exhibiting strange behavior and strange spirits begin to haunt the house. It's soon revealed that the house is haunted by the dead souls of former residents, and Grace must find a way to protect her children from them. The film won two Academy Awards, and was praised for its atmosphere of suspense and its attention to detail.
