Mayans M.C. is an American crime drama television series created by Kurt Sutter and Elgin James that premiered on FX on September 4, 2018. The series follows Ezekiel "EZ" Reyes (JD Pardo), a former golden boy now fresh out of prison after serving a sentence for murder. EZ is recruited to join the Mayans Motorcycle Club, a Hispanic biker gang operating in the same area as the Sons of Anarchy Motorcycle Club, which was the focus of Sutter’s previous series. The Mayans are a regional gang that deals primarily in drugs, yet their complex history is revealed as the series progresses. As EZ struggles to reconcile his new outlaw identity with his desire for a normal life, he finds himself in the midst of an all-out war between the Mayans and their rivals, setting the stage for twists, turns and betrayals. With strong performances and powerful storytelling, Mayans M.C. is an intense, thrilling ride.
