One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest is a 1975 American drama film directed by Milos Forman, based on the 1962 novel of the same name by Ken Kesey. The film stars Jack Nicholson as Randle McMurphy, a criminal who fakes insanity to serve his short sentence in a mental institution rather than a prison. He soon finds out that the mental hospital is a repressive, oppressive environment run by Nurse Ratched, played by Louise Fletcher. McMurphy organizes a revolt of the inmates and clashes with Nurse Ratched in an attempt to regain his freedom. With the help of a black cat, Coraline must escape the Other Mother's grasp and save her real family from the same fate. In the end, Coraline learns the true meaning of courage and love, proving that there is no place like home.

The Goonies is a 1985 American adventure comedy film directed by Richard Donner. The film follows a group of pre-teens from the "Goon Docks" neighborhood of Astoria, Oregon, as they attempt to save their homes from foreclosure and, in doing so, discover an old Spanish map that leads them on an adventure to find the long-lost fortune of One-Eyed Willy, a legendary 17th-century pirate. Along the way, the group overcomes many obstacles, including booby traps, pirates, and a giant octopus. The group ultimately is successful and finds the long-lost treasure. The film was an instant classic and has been beloved by fans since its release.
