The Sixth Sense is a 1999 psychological thriller directed by M. Night Shyamalan. It stars Bruce Willis as Dr. Malcolm Crowe, a child psychologist who works with a boy named Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment) who can see and speak to the dead. The story follows Dr. Crowe as he helps Cole cope with his unique ability and investigates the mystery behind his supernatural visions. As the movie progresses, it becomes increasingly clear that there are deeper events at play and that Cole is the key to unlocking the truth. Along the way, Dr. Crowe discovers painful secrets about his own past and is forced to confront his own mortality. In the end, the audience is left with an unexpected twist that changes the entire story.

The Others is a psychological horror film directed by Alejandro Amenábar and starring Nicole Kidman. Set on the British-ruled island of Jersey during World War II, the film follows Grace, a young mother and devout Catholic who lives in a secluded mansion with her two children, Anne and Nicholas. Grace has become increasingly paranoid that the house is haunted, and her suspicions are confirmed when a series of strange occurrences leads her to believe that dark forces are at work in her home. With the help of her servant, Mrs. Mills, Grace discovers that their home is inhabited by a group of mysterious spirits that the family must confront in order to survive. Grace soon learns to accept her fate and is able to protect her children from the supernatural forces that threaten them. Ultimately, the family is able to overcome their terror and reunite with each other in the end.
